How to integrate with Instagram shopping

Step-by-Step Guide to Integrating with Instagram Shopping

We know navigating through the Meta business Manager can give you a headache so we made you an amazing and comprehensive step by step guide:

  1. Check that you have a business or creator account

    1. On Instagram app on mobile

    2. Go to your profile and tap in the upper right corner. Tap Settings

    3. Then

      1. If there is a section business then you all setup

      2. If not click privacy, then Account type and tools, and Switch to professional account

  2. Sync your Paage products

    1. Go to app.paa.ge

    2. Go to Integration > Instagram Shopping

    3. Click Connect

    4. Authorize Paage Catalog

    5. Select your Business Account

    6. Then

      1. if there is already an existing Catalog select it

      2. if not, Create a new one by clicking Create a new catalog

  3. Setup your domain

    1. Go to https://business.facebook.com/latest/settings

    2. Then

      1. If there is NO Brand safety menu

        1. Click on the Info icon → Configurator

        2. Click on Create Ads account

        3. Refresh and you should see a Brand safety menu

        4. Go to ii.

      2. If there is a Brand safety menu

        1. Click on https://business.facebook.com/settings/info

        2. At the top of the page under you name, please check

          1. If Primary page is empty

            1. Click Edit and Select your Facebook page as main page

          2. If Main page is not empty you are all good

        3. In the left menu, click on Brand safety > Domain > Add > Request Access to a domain

        4. Type paa.ge > Tick the box > Send

  4. Check your products and business infos

    1. Click on https://business.facebook.com/commerce

      1. If you have already a Commerce account

        1. Click on your Commerce account

      2. If you don't have a Commerce account

        1. Add a Commerce account and follow the funnel

    2. In the overview page if you need some Business verification please do it otherwise it won’t work

  5. Enjoy your products

    1. Once facebook & us approved your request (take up to 24h)

    2. Go to Instagram app

    3. New publication

    4. Select a photo

    5. Next on filter

    6. Tap Identify Products

    7. You should be able to see your Catalog and access Paage products !

Paage products are automatically created/updated/deleted with the Insta Catalog so you have no more configuration to do.
