In this article, we'll walk through how and when leads are automatically removed from sequences. By default, leads are marked as "finished" when they book a meeting through your video page or respond to an automated message, but you can customize this behavior by following these step-by-step instructions.
To start, login to Pageport and navigate to Sequences > View Sequence.
1. Click Settings
2. Click the dropdown menu for the exit condition you'd like to edit
You can edit conditions for what communication a lead receives after a lead books a meeting, after a lead replies to an email, or after a lead replies to an SMS message.
3. Select your preferred actions for each exit condition
For each condition listed in Step 2, you can choose hose the sequence responds— either by marking the lead as "finished" (which stops all future communication in that sequence), or by skipping just specific types of steps, like emails, SMS messages, or call tasks.
For example, if a lead opts out of text messages, some users prefer to continue sending them emails and assigning call tasks, while simply skipping any future SMS steps.
4. Click Save
