You can add several different step types to a sequence in Pageport: Automated email, Automated SMS, Assign template, Call task, General task, Quick text, and Add to sequence. The following guide gives a brief overview of each step type.
1. To start, log into Pageport and navigate to Sequences > View Sequence
2. To add a new step type, scroll to the bottom of the sequence and click Add Step
Step Types
Automated email
An Automated email step adds an email that is delivered to a lead after a specified number of days. The email is sent from the email address you integrated when you set up Pageport.
Automated SMS
An Automated SMS step adds an SMS message that is delivered to a lead after a specified number of days. You can send and receive SMS messages from within Pageport or an integrated texting tool like MyRepChat or RingCentral.
Assign template
The Assign template step allows you to change the video page that is sent to a lead. This is helpful when you want to send different videos or video pages to a lead within a sequence.
Call task
A Call task step creates a task and a notification that reminds you to call a lead after a specified number of days. You can also assign tasks to specific users within Pageport. A list of your tasks is found on the Tasks page.
General task
A General task step creates a task for any other actions you'd like to add to a sequence and notifies you after a specified number of days. You can title a task, write a description for it, and assign the task to specific users within Pageport. A list of your tasks is found on your Tasks page.
TapText
A TapText step sends a text message to the lead owner after a specified number of days in the sequence. It includes a customizable, prefilled message. You can personalize the message using dynamic fields (like a lead's name or city). A TapText can be helpful for texting leads that require manual outreach, such as those from lead sources that don't allow automation.
Add to sequence
The Add to sequence step adds the lead to another sequence after a specified number of days after they have finished the current sequence. This can be helpful when adding a lead to a long-term drip or nurture sequence after completing initial outreach. You can also restart the sequence using this step.
