Introduction

Automation is an exciting feature that makes it possible to trigger Interactivity without the visitor having to select a clickable area on the page. It can also be used to automatically close a pop-up box, such as a More Information module, which is useful if you want to display information for a limited time.

Example

Ryan has created a Social Media Policy that includes important information about the use of social media in the workplace. He has added a More Information pop-up box detailing the information and would like it to display for 5 seconds.

How to set up Automation

  • Navigate to a Document.

  • Select ‘Interactivity’ for the Version of the Document that you want to work on.

Only one module is required to set up this type of Automation.

  • Module 1 - This is the module that will automatically close after a limited time.

  • Click on the module that you want to add the automation to.

  • Select the wand icon from the fly-out menu.

  • Select the ‘Add Automation’ button.

  • A ‘Settings’ box will then display ready to set up the Automation.
