Understanding the Search Projects Page

Updated over a year ago

The Search Projects page allows you to search for specific projects in your system using various filters. Here's how to use it –

The Search Projects page can be opened via the Page Navigation Menus on the left-hand side of the Home Page.

On the Search Projects page, you will see a list of all your Projects with details such as Project ID #, Project Name, # of Variations, Project Creation Date, Clients, Assigned Estimator, Project Value, Total Profit Value, and Gross Profit %.

At the top of the page, you will see a list of Project Statuses. By clicking on one of the Status Options, you can filter all your projects and display only Projects with that Status. You can also select multiple Statuses at once.

Click on the ADVANCED button to open up the Advanced Search options. Here you can search by Project Name, Project ID #, Estimator Name, Project State Location, Client Name, Client Contact, Default Division, and Company that the Project(s) are assigned to.

With the Advanced Search, you can also filter Projects by different types of Dates. These types of Dates include Creation Dates, Quote Start Dates, Submitted Dates, Decision Dates, Quote Due Dates, Quote Finish Dates, Won Dates, Win Probability, and Lost Dates.

Once you've filled out any/all relevant fields, hit the SEARCH button towards the top left of the page. If you want to clear any fields, you can hit the little "x" at the end of the search field. If you wish to clear all fields at once and reset the search, you can click the CLEAR FIELDS button towards the top left of the page.

You can also filter your view by hitting the CHANGE VIEW drop-down and selecting one of the filter options.

The SHOW INACTIVE PROJECTS button allows you to include inactive projects in your search.

You can switch between List and Tiled View. Tiled view displays some extra information such as Win Probability %, Client Address, Client Contact Name, Client Contact Email, Sales Person, Lead Source, Quote Due Date, Quote Submitted Date, and Project Start Date.

At the bottom of the page, you will see a Search Summary section. Here, it will always display the Total Value ($), Total Profit ($), Number of Projects in the current Search, and the Average Gross Profit % of the current Search.

That's it! With the Search Projects page, you can quickly and easily find the projects you need, using various filters and search options.
