Importing Data

Navigate to the Settings page via your User Name in the top right hand corner of the screen, then select the drop down arrow next to your User Name, select Settings from the drop down menu.

Now select the Import Data option on the left hand side.

Here you can select from a range of Data Types in which you can download the template .csv files and upload the completed .csv files. You can also quickly navigate to the affiliated pages to ensure that the data has been uploaded correctly.

There are a range of Data Types that you can import:

Clients – These are the Organisations/Companies in which you Quote Projects for. This can include their names, contact details, addresses, and other relevant information. It helps you keep track of your client database and maintain up-to-date records.

Products – These are the Products that you will be using on your Projects. This can include product names, descriptions, pricing, codes, and other relevant details. It helps you manage your product catalog and streamline the quoting and ordering process.

Coating Systems – These are the Coating Systems in which you will build out your Charges and Measure Tools with. This includes coating system names, specifications, application methods, and other related information. It helps you standardize and automate the selection of coating systems for your projects.

Colours – These are the Colours that you will choose when selecting your Products. This includes color names, brand names, codes, and other color-related details.

Labour Rates – These are the Labour Rates associated with different types of labor or job positions. This includes hourly rates (EBA & Non-EBA), after hours and State (if your Company operates in multiple States). It helps you accurately calculate project costs and estimate labor expenses.

Suppliers – These are the Suppliers or Vendors you work with. This includes supplier names, contact details, addresses, and other relevant information. It helps you maintain a comprehensive supplier database for easy reference and communication.

Suppliers - Product Brands – These are the Suppliers and their retrospective Brands. This helps in managing and tracking the product brands provided by different suppliers. You can upload the relationships between suppliers and the brands they supply.

Suppliers - Locations – These are the Supplier/Vendors that you order products, equipment or otherwise interact with. This includes addresses, contact details, and other location-specific information. It helps you manage and organize supplier information based on their respective locations.

Suppliers - Equipment – These are any Suppliers that you hire machinery/equipment from. This includes equipment/product names, weekly/hire rate and transport costs. It helps you keep track of the equipment supplied by your vendors.

Pro Tip

If you upload any Product related data it is highly recommended you then go to those Products afterwards and upload any relevant data sheets, logos, etc. related to the newly uploaded Products.
