There are a few different types of Tools that you can create and use within the Measure Tool, let's look at the different types;
The first Tool Type is Measure. This type of Tool is used to draw/calculate any areas that require a m2 or Lineal Metre calculation. For example; Walls, Ceilings, Skirting, Slab Edges.
Within the Measure Tool Type there are 3 different Calculation Types. Surface Area, Wall Area and Lineal Metre.
Surface Area β This Calculation Type is best used to calculate the square metre of areas such as Ceilings or Floors. You can also add a height to which calculate around the perimeter of the Marked Up area.
Wall Area β This Calculation Type is typically used to measure any sqm or Length x Height measurement. This is typically used for areas such as Interior/Exterior Walls.
Lineal Metre β This Calculation Type will calculate based on selected Millimetre Profiles within the system. This is typically used for Skirting or Slab Edges.
The next Tool type is Item. This type of Tool allows you to select from a range of different Profiles ranging from Doors, Door Frames, Bollards, Window Architraves and other types of Items. With this Tool Type you are able to place Counters or Markers and the system will calculate all the necessary data in accordance to the Profile you select.
Lastly we have the Annotation Tool Type. This type of Tool is used to to create highlights or create call outs on the Canvas. You can pre-create specific callouts or coloured highlights to save you have to create them over and over again.
