When you're in the Measure Tool, select the User Tools Library icon on the left hand side and select the CREATE TOOL button. Alternatively you can select the VIEW USER TOOLS and select the CREATE NEW USER TOOL in the top left hand corner.
Once you select the CREATE TOOL button you will be greeted with a pop-up window, this is where you will select all of the attributes for your new Tool.
Select the Item Tool Type.
Next you'll want to give this specific Tool a name. Make sure you label it something that makes sense and is easy to identify and remember. When selecting Tools you can always use the search function to find it.
The next few options are to do with how the Tool will appear on the Canvas;
Line Weight – This value will change the thickness of the line for your Drawings. We recommend starting off with 10.
Colour – This is the Fill Colour.
Border Colour – This is the Colour for the Border/Lines.
Line Type – This is where you can select between either a Solid or Dashed Line Style.
Item Size – This value will change the size of the Item for your Drawings. We recommend starting off with 5.
Profile – Select from a range of Profiles that have been set in the System that you want to use for this specific Tool.
Highlight – This will add a see-through effect to the Tool, similar to a Highlighter on paper.
Once you've finished customising how you you want the Tool to look, the next portion is setting the specific details for this Tool;
Environment – You can choose from a range of Environments where this particular Tool/Coating System will be used.
Rater Per Unit – This is the Rate at which you will charge the Client per sqm.
Brand Filter – You can search for the Brands in your Library to help narrow down which Coating System you're looking for.
Product Filter – You can search for the specific Product in your Library to help narrow down which Coating System you're looking for.
Substrate Filter – You can search for the specific Substrate to help narrow down which Coating System you're looking for.
Coating System – Search for and select which Coating System you want to be used for this particular Tool.
And lastly you can choose a particular Paint Colour. This is not mandatory to create the Tool but can help save time in the future if you're constantly using the same Paint Colour.
Now hit the CREATE button and your new Tool is ready to be used!
