Editing a Projects Labour Costs

Editing a Projects Labour Costs

Updated over a year ago

Ensuring your Labour Costs are correct is vital for you to be able to accurately budget and manage the costs a Project. Let's take a look at how you can adjust your Labour Rates for a Project.

First, once you've opened your specific Project, navigate to the Project Navigation Menu on the left hand side of your screen. In the sidebar, locate and select the 'Labour Costs' menu.

Here you will see all the Labour Types associated with your current Project, their Non-EBA, EBA, and After Hours rates. You can review and edit any Rates on this page, add new Labour Types or remove any that aren't being used. You can also use the 2 buttons in the top left to switch all assigned Labour Types between EBA and Non-EBA Rates for your Project.

Once you've adjusted, added or removed the Labour Rates for your Project, make sure you hit the SAVE PROJECT in the bottom right hand side of your screen.

Pro Tip

You won't be able to remove Labour Types that are currently assigned to a BOQ. Make sure you remove the Labour Type from your BOQ's before trying to remove them from your Project. You can do this by editing a BOQ and selecting the new Labour Type you wish to use.

Successfully managing Labour Rates is a cornerstone of effective project budgeting and execution. By carefully adjusting, adding, or removing Labour Rates, you maintain not only financial accuracy but also operational efficiency. Remember, the Labor Costs directly influence your project's overall financial health and can impact your decision-making processes.
