Understanding Tasks

Updated over a year ago

Whether you manage your own workflow or help an entire team, Tasks are an incredibly important and powerful part of PaintProjex. Tasks can be found in 2 separate parts of PaintProjex. The first is the Task menu when you open a Project, this will relate to that specific Project. The next is Tasks within the Measure Tool, this will relate specifically to anything needing to be done within the Measure Tool itself.

Project Tasks can be used to assign specific actions to a particular User at a certain date/time. You can also program in reminders so that you can be reminded of the Task. The User that is assigned will also receive an email once you've created the Task, it will also appear on their Tasks/Alerts which can be access from the Home Page.

Measure Tool Tasks can be used similar to a Check List, you can write out what Task you need to complete and then either mark it as complete which will cross it out or delete the Task altogether.

Incorporating Tasks into your workflow with PaintProjex is not just about managing daily activities; it's about optimizing efficiency and enhancing team collaboration. Whether it’s assigning specific actions in Project Tasks or utilizing the Measure Tool for checklists, Tasks empower you to maintain control over project timelines and ensure nothing falls through the cracks. As you integrate this feature into your daily operations, you'll likely discover even more ways in which Tasks can streamline your processes and keep your team aligned. We encourage you to explore the full potential of Tasks in PaintProjex, harnessing them as a key tool for driving your business forward and maintaining a cohesive, well-informed team.
