Logging your Time against a Project can be crucial to understanding what it takes to price similar Projects in the future, especially for similar clients or Projects of comparable size. Let's take a look at how to add Time to a Project.
First, open the Project you wish to add the extra time to. Then on the Project Navigation Bar, look for the Time header. Click on Time.
Once you've opened the Time page, you will see the current logged Time for this Project. If there are hours missing or you've attributed work to this Project outside of PaintProjex and want to log it against the Project (such as site visits, client consultations, etc.) then on the right hand side of the screen and you will see the Create New Time Entry box.
Select the date, the start time and the duration of the activities you performed. Once you've double checked the details, select the SUBMIT button.
You will now see that the time has been added to your Project and you can see a history of manually added Time.
Regularly updating time entries not only enhances your ability to predict and accurately plan future projects but also plays a crucial role in the ongoing efficiency of project management. By maintaining up-to-date records, you ensure a solid foundation for both current project success and future project strategies.
