How to customize the look of the WebID authentication invite your applicant receives

The WebID invites you send to your applicants can be customized with your company's branding. Branding can be changed at the company wide level or at the individual location level. Locations will default to matching the company wide branding unless they are specifically updated.

Company Wide Customization

To update the WebID branding for the company you must have one of the following permission levels: Owner, Organization Admin, or IT Admin.

Here are the steps:

  • Click the gear icon on top right

  • Go to the WebID tab

  • The first view, Edit WebID will allow you to change the company name (under Alias), the default color of the buttons, and logo.

  • When changes have been made, click Save changes

  • To change the written text template, select Custom Template

  • From there, you can edit the message your applicants will see

  • A few personalization tokens are also available for your use include Applicant First Name, Employee Name, and Location Name.

  • When you are finished, select Save changes

Note: Keep in mind that the custom template will always be used by all locations as this is not customizable by location.

Location Based Customization:

To update the WebID branding for an individual location you must have a permission level of "Manager" or higher in the portal.

Here are the steps:

  • Click the gear icon on top right

  • Select the Locations tab

  • From there, click directly on the location you would like to edit

  • Once you are on the editing screen, you will need to scroll down to the Customize WebID for this location section

  • From there, you can update the business name the client sees (Alias), the color of the buttons, and the logo.

  • Once you are finished with your changes, hit Save changes

Note: This will override the company wide branding for the location
