This article will explain the differences between My Library and the Global Library. Once you are signed into your account, click on the My Library tab to display all of our department books.

My Library is for making changes to your content. This is where you will find all of your customization tools. Here you will have the option to remix, rename, and reorder parts of your book (chapters, sections, flashcards, and teaching slides). From My Library, you can also edit and embed the text itself.

To go to the Global Library, click the magnifying glass at the bottom of the left menu bar. If you hover your cursor over it, you will see it says Search Global Library.

The Global Library, like My Library also lists all of your department books with the additional option to search outside of your department and see the full panOpen catalog.

To see the books in the Global panOpen Library outside of your department, click on Search Outside of Your Department in the top right of the screen.

There you will see every single book in the panOpen catalog.

If you'd like any of these to be added to your library, next to each book you have the option to click on Copy Book to My Library.
