If a Global LTI tool has not been created, please have your LMS administrators contact support@panopen.com 

Step 1: Within your D2L Brightspace course, navigate to the Content tool.
​Step 2: Click Existing Activities > External Learning Tools.
​Step 3: Click Create New LTI Link.

Step 4: Enter a Title. Paste the Web Link URL from your panOpen course. 

*Tool listed may be different based on your D2L administrator's configuration

Step 5: Click Create and Insert.

Step 6: Select the context menu of the newly created topic.Select Edit Properties In Place.

Step 7: Select the checkbox for Open as External Resource.

Step 1: Click settings from the Admin Tools menu, click the External Learning Tools link.

Step 2: Click Manage External Learning Tools Links > New Link. Create a new link using the following values: 

     -    In the Title field, enter "panOpen OER Courseware".
     -    In the URL field, enter the Launch URL provided by customer service (email support@panopen.com if you do not have one)
     -    Select the Allow users to view this link check box so that the link appears as a Quicklink option to users at your organization.

Step 3: Select Link key/secret. 

     -     In the Key field, enter the key provided by customer service (email support@panopen.com if you do not have one)
     -     In the Secret field, enter the secret provided by customer service (email support@panopen.com if you do not have one)

​Step 4: To manage security settings at the tool provider level rather than for each individual link, under Security Settings, select Send tool consumer information to tool provider and Send user ID to tool provider. 

Under the Security Settings, make sure to mark all of the boxes to allow the best experience.

Click Save.
