Creating a Class

This article will walk you through how to create a new class and share it with your students.
Once you are signed into your account, click on the 'My Classes' tab to display all of your current classes.

Click the button in the top left corner of the screen that says 'Create New Class'.

his will take you to a new page where you will be prompted to name the course and enter a start date and end date, which is the only required information on this screen.

Once you save the course, you will go back to the 'My Classes' page where you will see your new course. If at any point you need to edit the information for any of your created classes, you can do so by clicking the arrow icon next to your class title.

The nest step is to add your course materials to the class. To do so you will click on 'Add Material' and select from the drop down menu which book your students will be using. These books are pulled from your 'My Library'.

Each class you create will have a share link to provide your students with so they can enroll in that course. When you are in the class you would like to share, click the 'Invite Students' button at the top right corner of the screen to display the share link.

Your students will use that link to create their panOpen account and enroll in your course. Remember, if you create multiple classes in panOpen, there will be a unique share link for each class.

After the end date for your course has passed, they will display on your 'My Classes' page under 'Archived Classes'.
