  1. Go to your library, and click on the book that you want to edit with your own activities. This will allow you to access its content.

  2. Expand the chapters' content using the plus icon, and locate the section where your activity will be placed.

  3. Use the plus icon that appears when your cursor is over a paragraph for placing the activity above it. Then, select the “Add Quiz” option.

  4. An options-box will appear on the screen and, to add quizzes from scratch, you'll need to start by clicking the blue button with a plus icon, located in the top right corner. After that, click on the blue button that says "Create item". And then, click on the big gray "Add new" button.

  5. PanOpen offers a wide variety of pre-designed templates to facilitate the creation of quizzes. It is only necessary to replace the information in the template once selected. Each template allows you to add, remove, edit, and shuffle the possible answers, if required.

  6. Before saving the changes, it is advisable to take a look at the quiz using the "Preview" option located near the top right corner. This will let you know how the activity will look like from the students' perspective. To finish, just click on "Save" and the activity will be added to your book.

  7. If by chance you want to delete an activity, just place the cursor over it, and click on the big red X that will appear on the right.
