1. Why do I need the Credit Builder? Why is good credit important?
When you pay your monthly wireless bill on time, we report each of the 24 monthly installments to help boost your credit — completely free of charge. This is only available to US based customers.
Good credit can help you:
Qualify for loans at lower interest rates
Increase your chances of renting a home
Get approved for credit cards and other services
Good credit opens doors — Credit Builder helps get you there.
2. Is it free to enroll in Credit Building?
Yes, enrollment in Credit Building is completely free.
3. How do I get approval for the Credit Builder Agreement, and how do I sign up?
We will need to verify your identity when you enroll, and there’s no credit check required. You’ll provide your name, date of birth, address, Social Security Number, and a photo of a government-issued ID. All data is encrypted over a secure connection to our partner, Array - a leader in credit building platforms.

4. What if I don’t have a Social Security Number (SSN)? Are there any alternatives?
If SSN verification fails, you’ll be asked to upload a government-issued ID to verify your identity.
5. How do I build up my credit score?
Simply pay your plan on time every month and the successful payment and amount is reported to the bureaus.
💡 Tip: Choosing a higher-priced plan can boost your score faster as it shows more financial responsibility.
6. Can I report past payments made before signing up with Panda?
No, only payments made under an active Installment Contract are eligible for reporting.
7. Can I report multiple lines or accounts?
Yes! Whether it's for you or others, all lines can be reported. Each person must verify their identity individually.
8. How do I change my payment method?
Log in to your account → click the profile icon (top-right) → Billing Portal → Add Payment Method → click the three dots to set it as default.
9. Can I pay before my due date to build higher credit?
Not at this time. As a prepaid service, payments must align with the billing schedule.
Don’t worry — we send reminders 3 days before the due date via email, and if a payment fails, you’ll be notified via SMS and email.
10. How long before I see an improvement in my credit score?
Credit scores typically update monthly. Many users begin to see results within the first month of on-time payments.
11. Which credit bureaus does Panda report to?
We currently report to Equifax and plan to add TransUnion and Experian soon.
12. How do I track my credit score?
You can track it via AnnualCreditReport.com. We’re also working on adding credit tracking directly in the app.
13. What happens if I miss a payment for my monthly subscription?
Your credit score may be impacted, and your phone service will pause.
However, we offer a 30-day grace period — pay within this time, and no negative report will be made.
If unpaid after 30 days, the missed payment will be reported and remain in your history.
14. By cancelling my service, does it hurt my credit?
No. Cancelling simply closes the account — it’s a neutral impact, like closing a credit card. It may slightly affect your score due to the age of the credit line, but not due to delinquency.
15. How do I cancel my Installment Contract? Does cancelling my subscription also cancel the Credit Builder contract?
Cancelling your subscription is the only way to cancel your Installment Contract.
Note: Your subscription will continue after the contract ends unless you cancel it.
16. Can I use a photocopy of my ID for verification?
Yes, as long as it’s clear and legible, a photocopy is acceptable.
17. If I pause my registration, can I resume it later without issues?
Yes! You can resume registration at any time without starting over.
18. Can I change my plan (e.g., upgrade or downgrade) once I am enrolled at Credit Builder? and how does it affect credit reporting?
Once you are enrolled in credit builder, currently plan changes are limited. 🔧 But don’t worry — this feature is coming soon!
