Tip: To conserve your wireless data, always use a Wi-Fi connection when available!
For customers on an Unlimited Plan (Regular: Unlimited and Unlimited Plus; Student: Student Unlimited and Student Ultimate), your data speeds will be throttled for the remainder of your billing cycle. You will not lose data connectivity, but you may experience slower speeds.
At the moment the throttle speed is 256 kbps for ALL UNLIMITED PLANS. You'll still be able to surf the web and stream low-definition videos.
For the Starter, Lite and Student Starter plans, once you’ve used your wireless data allowance—6GB for Starter and 3GB for Lite and Student Starter—you will lose data connectivity.
As an option to get more data, you can upgrade your plan or purchase a data add-on through your portal. Simply log in to your portal, locate your line, and click the arrow to manage your line. Then, select 'Change Plan' to upgrade your plan or 'Add More Data' to purchase a data add-on.
