The Pantone Connect Extension for Adobe CC programs is a cloud based plugin that when installed from the Adobe Exchange Marketplace is designed to automatically update as new versions are published (this is Adobe's recommended method). However in some instances, these automatic updates may not work based on how you have installed the Extension, your administrative permissions or settings for software installation and updates. Below is how you can check the version in the Pantone Connect Extension as well as how you can update this.

Where can I find the version of the Pantone Connect Extension I have installed?

When logged into the Pantone Connect Extension, you will find these details in the User Menu of the Extension. This menu is opened by clicking your initials in the upper right corner of the Extension window and select ABOUT. This will display details about the Pantone Connect Extension and the PLATFORM VERSION you have installed.

Is my version of Adobe programs compatible with the Pantone Connect Extension?

The compatible versions of Adobe CC programs can be found listed on the Pantone Connect Extension page of the Adobe Exchange Marketplace, which is found here. This will display the versions that are necessary to use the Pantone Connect Extension.

How can I update the version if it is not up to date?

Depending on the installation method you used and what permission levels you have, there are a couple of methods to update this.

1. Please open your Adobe CC Desktop App and select the STOCK & MARKETPLACE tab across the top and then PLUGINS in the tab just below this. On the left you will see MANAGE PLUGINS to display the current plugins you have installed. This will display the Pantone Connect Extension (if installed) and if an update is available it will have the option to UPDATE.

2. If your Pantone Connect Extension is managed by your IT or Network Administrator, they will need to deploy the update in the same method they have installed the Pantone Connect Extension through an Enterprise installation.
