CoDriver Strict Mode

Want to use CoDriver with stricter carrier validation rules? Read more on CoDriver's Strict Mode Feature below.

Updated over a week ago

Introduction

CoDriver by default will always filter out any requests from carriers who have the "No Dispatch" flag on their Carrier Profiles, and if the carrier is in Parade's Suspicious Emails list. Any carriers who fall under either of those criteria will be ghosted by CoDriver, without giving away the reasoning behind their conversations not being followed up on, as to not alert Fraudsters that they've already been identified.

We do however understand that some broker operations might require more control and stricter rules as to which Carriers are allowed to interact with CoDriver, and this is how CoDriver's Strict Mode was brought to life.

🚦 Enforce Compliance Before Engagement

Strict Mode gives brokers full control by requiring carriers to pass compliance checks (via RMIS, MCP, or Highway) before they can access load details or submit quotes through CoDriver.

📌 How Strict Mode Works

Strict Mode adds an integrated compliance layer across both email and phone communications:

  • Email: If a carrier fails compliance, CoDriver ghosts them—no email response is sent, no load details are revealed, and quoting is blocked.

  • Phone: CoDriver announces the custom No Dispatch Message configured on your CoDriver Settings page, then ends the call. No load information is disclosed, and quoting is blocked.

  • Outcome: Only carriers that pass the compliance check are allowed to proceed.

This builds on CoDriver’s existing protections, such as the Global Black List and internal No-Dispatch Flags, and enforces your compliance standards consistently across all carrier interactions.

🔍 Compliance Tools & Integration

  • RMIS & MCP: Respect the pass/fail logic defined in your compliance settings with the respective providers. If a carrier fails, CoDriver blocks the interaction automatically.

  • Highway (recommends activation via Support or your CSM):

    • Provides richer compliance data, giving you more granular control over carrier engagement.

    • Supports nuanced scenarios based on a carrier’s:

      • Compliance Status: Pass or Fail

      • Onboarding Status: Active, Inactive, or Needs to Onboard

    • This results in combinations such as:

      • Active + Pass

      • Active + Fail

      • Inactive + Pass

      • Inactive + Fail

      • Needs to onboard + Pass

      • Needs to onboard + Fail

    • These combinations let you fine-tune how “strict” CoDriver should be in different scenarios.

Recommendation: Contact Support before enabling Highway-based Strict Mode to ensure your configuration aligns with desired enforcement behavior.

⚠️ Strict Mode outcomes are driven entirely by the compliance status from your connected provider (RMIS, MCP, or Highway).
