Private Freight Matching Integration
Overview
Broker customers use Parade’s real-time freight matching screens to match available loads with private carrier network capacity and pricing.
This DAT RateView integration enables the end-user to quickly compare any pricing feedback or historical rates directly with the DAT market benchmark.
How we use the DAT RateView interface
For each available load, the Parade system will query DAT RateView for the most granular market rate-per-mile data that matches the load’s requirements and cache the customer’s resulting data for the day. The data is re-fetched twice a day until the load is no longer active.

This might happen whenever the load has a source or destination city not recognized by DAT, or an equipment type not supported to pull rateview data. Currently, the equipments supported are Van, Reefer and Flatbed.
When Rateview is not setup:
If your DAT RateView integration is not configured or does not exist, you will see the following message:
