On Parkn'Sleep pitches we distinguish between three types of behaviour, these are determined by the host and are each indicated in the advertisement with the following symbols:

Parking behaviour

Parking and staying/staying overnight in a vehicle is permitted on these sites. The setting up of chairs, tables or other utensils is not permitted. These places are mostly pure parking spaces near the centre.

Folding chair behaviour

The setting up of chairs, tables etc. is permitted in these spaces. When leaving the vehicle/space, however, all utensils must be stowed in the vehicle. These places are usually parking spaces of the municipality, mountain railways or restaurants.

Camping behaviour

Camping is permitted on these sites. Leaving chairs, tables or other utensils standing is expressly permitted. Keep order. These sites are mostly community sites, campsites, sites on farms or with private hosts.

The following rules are always part of a Parkn'Sleep visit:

  • Always be friendly and respectful to others on site.

  • Be considerate and abide by the host's site rules.

  • Respect and be mindful of nature and animals.

  • Keep dogs on a leash unless free running is expressly permitted.

  • Always leave the site clean. Taking rubbish from other people earns you karma points :-)
