Here we introduce you to seven types of hosts:

Symbol

Name

Description

Designated RV Parking space

Hosts are often municipalities or organisations. Designated pitches usually have a good infrastructure.

Parking space

in the nature

Nature parking spaces are jewels, and special attention is paid to them. Usually only self-sufficient vehicles are allowed. Respectful treatment of animals and nature is obligatory.

Parking space

on the farm

Hosts are farmers who welcome campervan travellers to the farm. Often breakfast or treats are offered in the farm shop.

Parkings spaces near mountain railway

Mountain railway companies usually offer pitches in a secluded sector of a large car park. Good starting point for mountain sports and nature enthusiasts.

Parking spaces at private house

Private hosts usually have only a few spaces in front of the house. Depending on the host and the space, ideal for transients or the curious.

Parking Spaces near restaurant

Restaurants now know very well how to deal with motorhome guests. A quiet big place with infrastructure and a great dinner is the standard.

Parking spaces in front of the camping

Hosts are campsite operators who have set up an extra area for short-term pitches. On these, you can arrive and depart at any time and have full camping infrastructure at your disposal.
