Adding a Credential

To upload your own credential to the system, click the [Edit] button under the Badge Credential section of any course you are editing.

If Mentorship and Feedback is required, or unselect the "auto award credential" option.

Adding Mentors

You've likely already told your Participate point person how you'd like your credential triggered (auto-awarded to the user vs. peer-reviewed) - and if you chose the latter, who the Mentors are for the course. Here are a few things to remember:

Use this option to add Mentors to your course.

To assign Mentors to a course, use the "manage Mentors" option in the right hand menu, as seen here. Your Participate point person may help you with this.

Learners will be able to submit their coursework for a credential, once they complete all interactions and click the final submission button.

Mentors will receive a notification via the Participate platform that someone has applied for a credential. Once learners earn a credential, it will be displayed on their Participate dashboard.

Learners will be able to revisit the course as often as they'd like even after earning the credential as long as the course remains active.
