The Owner of a collection has total control. The Owner can:

  • Edit the collection details (name, description, privacy, tags, thumbnail).
  • Manage collaborators (invite, edit access, remove).
  • View the discussion.
  • Add, edit and remove resources.
  • Message Contributors and Commenters.

The Contributor to a collection shares most of the abilities of the Owner, with a few exceptions. Here's what the Contributor can do:

  • Manage collaborators (invite, edit access, remove), with the exception of the Owner. The Contributor cannot remove or edit the access of the collection's Owner.
  • View the discussion.
  • Add, edit and remove resources.
  • Message Contributors, Commenters and Owner.

You can only become a Contributor through invitation from the collection's Owner.

The abilities of a Commenter are more limited than that of the Contributor and Owner. A Commenter has access to:

  • View resources.
  • View the discussion.
  • Message Contributors, Commenters and Owner.

You can make yourself a Commenter by participating in a collection's discussion, or by accepting an invitation from an Owner or Contributor.

The Viewer has the lowest level of access. Viewer is the default role when accessing another's collection without an invitation. The Viewer can:

  • View resources.
  • Message Contributors, Commenters and Owner.

You can request a higher level of access by messaging the Owner of a collection.

Happy collaborating!
