Meeting Requirements

Before publishing your course, there are a few requirements that must be met.

These requirements may vary, depending on if you have E-commerce functionality enabled (price required), or if you have set your course to be peer reviewed (assessors required), or automatically award the credential. Regardless, these requirements must be met before the course can be published.

Course Details

Filling out the course details tab will, you will be able to provide an image for your course and a description. This short description will show on the preview card when the course is displayed on the Courses tab in your community. The image will display on the preview card, as well as on the Enrollment page.

Enrollment page

On the Enrollment page tab, you will provide details that you would like to display on the enrollment page for the course. This is what prospective learners will see when deciding whether or not to enroll in your course. If you have the E-commerce function enabled, you will also be able to set a price to establish a paywall for the course.

Once you have all of your information added, you can use the "View enrollment page" link to preview what this will look like for your members!


Learning Task, Credential, Assessors

In addition to the above sections, each course must have at least a single Learning Task and a Credential. If the course will be peer reviewed, you must also add assessors!

Publishing Your Course

Once all requirements have been met, you will see the "Publish" toggle become active. If you select it, you will have the option to leave it as just "Published", or to also activate the "Hidden" toggle. This will make it so the course is available to users with a direct link, but does not show on your community Courses tab.

Lastly, you have the option to make the course "Discoverable". This will will make the course appear on our Course Discovery page on our site, allowing all users to easily find it!
