There are a few options when adding an image to a course, page or announcement.

Adding or Removing an Image Caption

When adding a new image or editing an existing image, you have the option to add a caption and alt text. To add a new image, click into any open space to reveal the (+) button and click the Image tab from to upload and insert an image. For an existing image, you can click on the "pencil" icon in the formatting bar at the top of the image.

Click the Details tab to edit the caption and alt text.

The caption style can be normal (under the image) or overlay (on top of the image). If you prefer not to include a caption, choose overlay and leave blank. This will leave less whitespace under the image.

Adding a Link to an Image

You can add a link to redirect your users to another location when they click on the image.

To add a new image with a link, just click into any open space to reveal the (+) button. Click the Image tab from to upload and insert an image. Click the Details tab to add a link and click [Save].

To add a link to an existing image, you can click on the "pencil" icon in the formatting bar at the top of the image. This will open the image builder, from which you can select the 'Details' tab and click [Save].
