PrimeXBT focuses on providing a secure trading environment. Client protection and the security of funds are a priority, supported by regulation, strict compliance standards, and platform security controls.
Licenses and regulated entities
PrimeXBT products and services are provided by different entities registered and or regulated in various jurisdictions. The contracting entity is determined at registration based on the client’s jurisdiction, and some products may not be available in all regions.

GEO availability and restricted jurisdictions
PrimeXBT services are not available to users or residents of certain countries and regions – restricted jurisdictions. Clients can access the platform only if they are not residents or users from restricted locations.

Important: Availability can change, and product access depends on the client’s jurisdiction and contracting entity at registration.
Copy Trading Availability and Regional Restrictions
Copy Trading is a feature offered by PrimeXBT that allows users to replicate the trading strategies of experienced traders. However, its availability is subject to regional restrictions due to compliance requirements and business decisions. The feature is restricted to certain regions and is inaccessible in jurisdictions where it is not supported. If your account is registered in a restricted region, you will not be able to use the Copy Trading feature or create a master account.
Specific Regional Restrictions
The following regions are explicitly mentioned as places where Copy Trading is unavailable:
India: Copy Trading is not available in India.
Nepal: Copy Trading is not offered in Nepal.
South Africa: Users in South Africa cannot access Copy Trading.
Portugal: Copy Trading is not available in Portugal.
Pakistan: The feature is not supported in Pakistan.
Supported Regions
Copy Trading is available to residents of the European Union (EU). However, the full list of supported regions is not disclosed to prevent misuse and ensure compliance with platform policies and regional regulations.
Discontinuation for New Accounts
Copy Trading is no longer available for new PrimeXBT accounts, regardless of location. This decision reflects changes in the platform’s offerings and policies.
Security of funds and security controls
PrimeXBT describes multiple controls intended to protect client funds, including:
Client funds segregation from company operations.
Client Fund Accounts for fiat held in bank accounts and crypto margin held in wallets, with segregation described in the platform terms.
Banking partners across multiple regions including Europe, the UK, and Asia to support payment operations, subject to availability by jurisdiction.
Cold wallet custody via Fireblocks and PCI DSS compliant card payments.
Negative balance protection.
