What is an Introducing Broker (IB)?

An Introducing Broker (IB) is a partner who refers new clients to PrimeXBT using their unique referral link. When those referred clients register and trade, the IB earns commission based on the selected compensation model – Revenue Share (RevShare).

How an IB model works

  1. You register as a partner and get your tracking link.

  2. You promote PrimeXBT through your channels (website, community, social media, paid traffic, etc.).

  3. Clients who register via your link become your introduced clients (subject to program rules and eligibility requirements).

  4. You earn commission from their activity according to your partnership offer and the rates shown in your partner account.

How RevShare is calculated

RevShare is a revenue share model where the IB receives a percentage of the trading revenue generated by their introduced clients.

In PrimeXBT’s terms, RevShare is defined as a percentage of the Spread or Trading Commission generated by each introduced client. The exact RevShare percentage depends on your Partnership Offer and is displayed in the Partner Management Platform. In simple terms:

  • Introduced client trades

  • Trading generates Spread and/or Trading Commission

  • Your commission = (Spread and/or Trading Commission) x (your RevShare %)

When RevShare is paid

Accrued RevShare commission is paid on a weekly basis, unless your Partnership Offer states otherwise.

Where to check your rates and results

Your current RevShare rates, commission details, and reporting are available in your partner account on the Partner Management Platform.

See Your Status section for more information about current rates, and the Dashboard for your balance and client activity/registrations overview.
