MT5 Cent accounts - Campaign explainer for partners

This page explains what the offer is, why it converts, and exactly how to promote it.

How it works and why it converts?

MT5 Cent accounts let clients trade real markets with much smaller amounts of money. Instead of showing the balance in US dollars, MT5 displays it in US Cents (USC), where 1 USD = 100 USC. For example, a $10 deposit appears as 1,000 USC in MT5, while the PrimeXBT account still shows $10 USD.

Trade sizes are also smaller, making Cent accounts a good option for beginners, cautious traders, or anyone who wants to test MT5 or a trading strategy before committing more capital.

Core offer: Trade real markets on MT5 with smaller balances and position sizes using a Cent account.

How it works for clients

  1. Step 1 - Open an MT5 Cent account
The client opens a Cent account and funds it in USD. In MT5, the balance is displayed in USC at 1 USD = 100 USC. For example, a $10 deposit appears as 1,000 USC, while the PrimeXBT account continues to show $10 USD.

  2. Step 2 - Trade with smaller position sizes
The client can trade Forex Major and Minor pairs, Gold (XAU), Silver (XAG), Bitcoin (BTC), and Ethereum (ETH). 1 lot on a Cent account equals 0.01 lots on a Standard account. A lot size of 100,000 contracts on a Cent account represents 100,000 cents of the base currency.

  3. Step 3 - Continue trading under Cent account conditions
Cent accounts use fixed leverage. Once account equity reaches $1,000 USD, any new positions require 10x more margin. For example, leverage that was effectively 1:1000 would become 1:100 for new positions above this threshold.
