Guide: How To Add Partners.House Code to Your Website

The process of adding Partners.House code to your site takes at most 5 minutes. To help you understand this clearly, let's go through each step together. To add Partners.House to your site, follow these steps:

1. Go to the “Streams” section in your Partners.House account.

2. Click “+Create new” or go to the settings of a previously created site.

3. If you are creating a new site, then after clicking “+Create new”, select “Your site”.

4. In the site creation settings, specify the URL of your site in the appropriate line.

5. Choose ".txt file in the root of the site" as the verification method and download the file partners-house.txt. If you prefer to verify site ownership other way, we recommend referring to the guide on passing the DNS TXT record verification.

To confirm ownership via the .txt file, access your hosting file manager and move the file to your site's root directory.

6. After adding the file, return to the new site creation menu and click the "Check" icon.

7. If the process is successful, the system will change the verification status to "Confirmed."

8. After verifying the correctness of the addition, click "Save platform" and navigate to the platform settings page.

9. Find the field with the service worker on the page and click the "Download" icon.

10. Copy the downloaded service worker file to the root folder of your platform, similar to the partners-house.txt file. After adding the file, check the correctness of the service worker installation by clicking the "Check" icon. If the process is successful, the system will change the verification status to "Confirmed."

11. Save the settings and wait for the system to redirect you to the "Streams" tab, where your site is displayed in the general list. In the line with your site, click the "Get Code" icon.

12. In the pop-up window, you'll see a specially generated script that needs to be copied.

13. Place the script in the index file of your platform within the <head> tag.

14. Your site will begin collecting push subscriptions upon correctly following the abovementioned steps.
