This guide walks you through how to navigate your dashboard and the sidebar so you can quickly find what you need, plan with ease, and keep your workspace organized.
Dashboard Overview
When you log in, your dashboard greets you with a warm Welcome message and quick-start options to jump into planning.
Start Planning
At the top of your dashboard, you’ll find two key buttons:
Browse Templates: Explore our curated library of pre-built event templates for inspiration and instant setup.
Create New Event: Start from scratch by entering your event details, then customize it with your own elements and timeline.
My Events Display
Below the main banner, you’ll see your My Events section — a visual list of all your in-progress and completed events.
Each event card shows:
Event Name
Date & Time
Status (e.g., planning or completed)
Click any event card to open it and manage its details, collaborators, and content.
Tip: Your most recent events appear first, so you can jump right back into planning where you left off.
Sidebar Navigation
The sidebar on the left side of your screen is your main navigation hub. It’s designed to keep everything accessible — from inspiration to admin tools.
Here’s what you’ll find:

Returns you to your main home screen at any time.
Browse
Templates: Explore Partytrick’s ready-to-use event templates. Each one includes mood boards, content recommendations, and timelines and have been curated by event professionals to make sure you get a head start creating a memorable experience.
Elements: View and manage content elements you can add to your events — from décor and recipes to playlists and activities.
Events
Access all your active, upcoming, and past events in one place.
My Library
Your personal creative hub for saved and custom content:
My Templates: View or reuse templates you’ve created or saved.
My Images: Manage uploaded or favorited images for mood boards.
My Elements: Review and edit any custom content elements you’ve built.
Settings
Personalize your workspace and update account preferences.
Admin
For users with admin access: manage workspace-wide settings, permissions, and content visibility.
Support
Open help articles, tutorials, or reach our support team directly.
Feedback
Share your ideas, report an issue, or suggest new features right inside the app.
Quick Tips
Click your workspace name or avatar in the sidebar to access account settings and log out.
Use the Toggle Sidebar icon to collapse or expand the navigation bar for more workspace area.
You can always return to your dashboard by selecting Dashboard in the sidebar.
