Welcome to Partytrick—this is where the party planning begins! Your Dashboard is your central hub for everything: events, blueprints, tasks, and team collaboration. It’s your launchpad for getting organized and bringing your events to life.

Dashboard Overview
When you log in to Partytrick, your Dashboard is the first thing you’ll see — it’s your mission control for everything you’re planning. From here, you can view all your events at a glance, keep track of upcoming tasks, and collaborate with co-hosts or teammates.
Use the pencil icon at the top to give your workspace a custom name. This helps personalize your planning space and makes it easier for collaborators to stay aligned. This name will be visible to co-hosts or teammates you invite to collaborate on your events.
Your Dashboard is made up of three sections:
Active Events – Access your in-progress events or create a new one.
My Tasks – See what’s coming up and what needs your attention.
Team – Invite others to help plan, assign roles, and share the load.
You can click any of the headings (Active Events, My Tasks, or Team) to take you to that section of the platform and start editing or modifying the corresponding sections.
If you’re logging in for the first time, your Dashboard may look a little empty — that’s just because you haven’t created an event yet. Click the green Create Event button to get started. Once your event is live, the Dashboard will update with all the details.
You can also set up an event from the Blueprints tab or the Events tab. We'll show you how to do that next.
Navigating Partytrick
From the Dashboard, click any of the sections in the left-hand navigation bar to jump to a different page of the platform.
Blueprints
In the Blueprints section, you can explore all of our pre-loaded event templates. Each blueprint includes a detailed plan for hosting your event—from inspiration and visuals to timelines, playlists, and printables. Whether you’re planning a birthday, dinner party, or corporate gathering, blueprints are a great place to start.

Events
On the Events tab, you can view and manage your upcoming, drafted, and past events. This is your event hub, where you can track your planning progress, make edits, and access guest management tools.
You can also create a brand new event from scratch using the “Create Event” button.
Users & Groups
Expand the Users & Groups section to view and manage your Squad Members and Squad Groups. This is where you’ll find all the additional users you’ve added to your workspace.
Select Squad Members to view or edit details for individual teammates. You can update roles, check login activity, and manage access to ensure everyone has the right permissions for their tasks.
Switch to Squad Groups to organize your team into smaller planning pods based on event type, role, region, or any other theme that fits your workflow.
Master Guest List
The Master Guest List helps you manage all guests invited across your events in one central place. You can view guest names and email addresses, making it easier to send invitations, avoid duplicate entries, and track frequent attendees.
Use the “Add Guests” button to manually add new people or upload a list all at once.

My Tasks
The My Tasks tab lets you monitor and update your assigned responsibilities across all events you’re involved in. Each task is connected to a specific event and can be sorted by status, due date, or who it’s assigned to so nothing slips through the cracks.

Resources
The Resources tab will soon be your go-to library for helpful guides, templates, and tools to support every step of your event planning journey. From how-to articles to downloadable checklists and style inspiration, this space is designed to save you time and spark new ideas.

My Favorites
Use the My Favorites section to easily access your most-used or saved items across the platform. You can bookmark favorite vendors, media, vibe inspiration, and more for quick reference when building or customizing an event.
Create Event
Click Create Event to start planning something new. You’ll be guided through a step-by-step setup process—from selecting a blueprint or starting from scratch to entering event details like name, date, and location.
