The Site Match Report allows you to find your ideal site faster. After inputting the criteria that's important to you, Almanac will search, score and rank over 30,000 retail centers based on how well they match your search.

View results

Your inputs in the Create Report stage will be used to generate results.

Retail centers will be scored based on three things:

  • The overall number of their visitors that match your consumer criteria

  • How well their existing retail mix matches your desired co-tenants

  • Their foot traffic trend over the last two years

Finally we’ll exclude retail centers based on the filters you applied. After a short loading time, your results will generate.

Results

Results: Your results will be displayed on the table and the map

The full results are displayed in a table while the map reveals the top 20 highest scoring centers within the map frame.

Each center is given up to three scores:

  • Consumer score

  • Market score (if you entered market criteria)

  • Overall score

The Consumer score is calculated by looking at the absolute number of visitors that match your criteria for each center over the last 12 months. All included centers are ranked based on this metric. The score is a representation of the percentile rank of each center.

The Market score is comprised of three elements:

  • Presence of a desired co-tenant is a positive factor

  • Absence of an undesired co-tenant is a positive factor

  • Presence of an undesired co-tenant is a negative factor

With the final score being a maximum of 10.

Similarly, the Overall score is comprised of three elements:

  • Consumer score

  • Market score

  • Foot traffic trend

This score is influenced by how well the center matches your consumer and market criteria, and is then further influenced by the growth in foot traffic over the past 2 years.

From the map view, you can search for a center based on geography.

The map will display all retail centers within the frame. If there are multiple within the same area, they will be clustered. Zoom in, zoom out and move the map to reveal more centers. You can also use the search bar to zoom to a specific location.

The pinpoints are colored based on the overall score and the legend explains the color codes. Clicking on a map pinpoint will reveal the map profile. From here you can click the ☆ icon to save a site or click through to analyze the center in the centers section.

Finally, you can expand the map to full screen mode to focus on the map view.

When you’re browsing the results you can edit, remove or apply more filters to your report.

Apply filters: Edit the filters applied to your report

There are three types of filter to choose from:

  • Score filters

  • Foot traffic filters

  • Center filters

Score filters enable you to display or hide centers based on their Consumer score, Market score, and Overall score. Use this to instantly remove any centers that don’t hit the criteria you’re looking for.

Foot traffic filters enable you to display or hide centers based on their foot traffic performance. Utilise the Monthly foot traffic and Foot traffic trend filters to tailor your results accordingly.

Center filters enable you to display or hide centers based on their geography and their existing tenants. These filters were available when you created your report and can be easily modified from this view.

Once you’ve finished applying your filters, select Apply at the bottom to save your changes. You can also click Remove all at the top to clear all filters.
