Navigating insurance
Mahmee is in network with select insurance providers. Coverage varies by plan and may depend on factors such as deductibles, co-pays, and coinsurance.
You can also use Health Savings Accounts (HSA) or Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) to pay for eligible services. Mahmee accepts HSA/FSA cards, and we’re happy to provide itemized receipts upon request for your records or reimbursement.
Am I eligible?
We'd be happy to check your coverage!
Go to www.mahmee.com and select 'Check Eligibility' to submit your insurance information. Our Care Coordination Team will verify your eligibility and contact you with details about your coverage and any next steps.
Out-of-network plans
For out-of-network plans, we won't bill your insurance directly. However, many insurance plans may reimburse you for some or all of the costs after your visit.
Here’s how the process works:
You pay upfront for your Mahmee visit.
We provide a superbill — a detailed receipt that includes diagnostic and procedure codes.
You submit the superbill to your insurance company to request reimbursement.
Important: Reimbursement is not guaranteed and depends on your specific insurance plan and benefits. We recommend contacting your insurance provider to ask about out-of-network coverage and how to submit a superbill.
Understanding out-of-pocket expenses
Depending on your plan, you may be responsible for some out-of-pocket costs. These expenses can include deductibles and/or co-pays.
We’ll always do our best to verify your coverage and let you know if any out-of-pocket costs apply before your visit. If you have questions about your specific plan, we recommend contacting your insurance provider directly.
To get help with choosing the best option for you, our care coordinators are available to assist 7 days a week.
