If you want to optimize the newsletters that show your Paved Ad Network campaign, you can modify your preferences or adjust specific bids.
How to View Newsletters on the Paved Ad Network
In your campaign's dashboard, the newsletter performance section will show the newsletters you are included in.
In your Paved Advertiser account, click Ad Network.
Click the name of the campaign you want to work with.
Click the Newsletter button to view a list of the newsletters your ad appeared in.
Browse the list to check out performance results for each newsletter:
BID
A bid is how much you're willing to pay per click. Here, you compete with other advertisers to reach a specific audience. If someone bids higher on your target audience, their ads will win more bids and be delivered more often.
SPEND
The total campaign spend for the time period you've selected.
REACH
The number of times your ad was shown for the time period you've selected.
CLICKS
The number of clicks your ad received in the time period you've selected.
CTR
Click-through rate is the number of clicks that your ad receives divided by the number of times your ad is shown.
CONVERSION
This metric will display if you activated the Paved pixel. Depending on what you're tracking, you can see signups, landing page visits, downloads, or custom events.
Note: We'll display a specific newsletter on your list only after a subscriber has clicked on an ad.
How to Optimize Your Newsletters and Bids
After your ad has been running for 3 weeks, you can optimize newsletters on the Paved Ad Network.
Newsletter optimization ensures you are allocating your efforts and budgets to the right newsletters on the Ad Network. It can be a difficult process to get right, but with these tips and notes, you can improve the performance of your campaigns.
Optimize Your Newsletter Display
Optionally, you can remove newsletters that don’t show positive performance, such as low clicks, low CTR, or low reach.
Click on the campaign you want to optimize on your Ad Network dashboard.
Check your Newsletter performance section.
To remove a newsletter from your campaign, hover over the name of the newsletter and click the minus icon (⛔).
Tip: If you don’t see the “remove newsletter” option in your account, contact help@paved.com for access.
Optimize Your Newsletter Bids
Want to choose which newsletters you get more or less exposure in? Try optimizing your newsletter bids.
For example, let’s say your ad gets impressive clicks from NBC’s Start TODAY newsletter. Now, you can increase your bid for that newsletter to boost your chances of getting in front of that audience.
Here's how our bid-by-newsletter feature works:
Click on the campaign you want to optimize on your Ad Network dashboard.
Check your Newsletter performance section.
Click the Bid section of the table to adjust bidding on a per-newsletter basis.
Click Save.
Tips:
On the Ad Network, you are targeting the audience regardless of the newsletters.
The newsletter name is irrelevant to the Ad Network algorithm.
