You can use your own domain when using Paved products. Your custom domain will work for open pixels, sponsorship redirect links, Booker, and the Ad Network.
Using your own domain is free and helps with deliverability and brand recognition.
DNS Example
As an example, we’ll demonstrate this via GoDaddy, but the steps remain fairly consistent for any domain registrar (BlueHost, HostGator, Namecheap, etc).
Log into your domain registrar and select the domain you use for your newsletter. This is likely your newsletter’s marketing website.
You’ll want to click EDIT (or MANAGE) your domain. And then ADD a new record.
You’ll have multiple record options. Choose CNAME.
Give your CNAME a short name – we highly recommend ‘pea’ for the Ad Network (an acronym for Paved Email Ads) or 'sponsorships' for Paved Booker. You will need to ensure that whatever subdomain you choose is also updated in the DNS records for your website.
You may also need to add a TXT record to your DNS, only if a TXT record appears for you in the Paved Ad Network onboarding wizard. This can be added by following steps 2 through 4 again (choosing TXT this time instead of CNAME under the record options). If a TXT record does not appear, you can skip this step.
Once you add the CNAME record and the TXT record (if applicable), your domain registrar may take up to 24 hours to fully make these updates.

Recommended Subdomain for the Paved Ad Network
The recommended subdomain for the Paved Ad Network is ‘pea’, which stands for Paved Email Ads.
We assume you don’t already have a ‘pea’ subdomain. If you do, you can modify the name of the subdomain you wish to use in your Paved account settings. You will need to ensure that whatever subdomain you choose is also updated in the DNS records for your website.
