How to Use Radar

Learn how to find newsletter sponsorship leads automatically with Radar by Paved. Then automate outreach with Zapier or Make.

Updated over 7 months ago

Introducing Radar by Paved: our exclusive tool for finding sponsorship leads. It's the web's biggest real-time feed of newsletter sponsorships, and you can access it for free.

In this article, you’ll learn how to get started with Radar.

What is Radar?

Radar instantly notifies you about sponsorships in newsletters similar to yours. These alerts are real-time and sync with your sales tools for quick action.

Set up Radar

1️⃣ Activate your Booker page

To access Radar, you'll need to activate Booker first.

Why? These two tools work in tandem to bring you more leads and close deals seamlessly. Booker showcases your sponsorship offerings, and Radar helps you reach out to the right brands and sell more of those offers.

Think of it this way: Booker is your free sponsorship storefront, and Radar is your outbound sales engine.

2️⃣ Turn on Radar

Once your Booker page is ready, it's time to turn on Radar. Follow these steps to enable Radar in your Paved account.

  1. Sign in to your Paved account and go to Profile > Options > Booker Settings.

  2. In the navigation menu, click Radar.

  3. Select up to 5 industries you want to track.

  4. Click Save.

With that, Radar is ready to go!

Make + Radar Ideas

After you've connected Radar to Make, the next steps are in your hands.

You can create a scenario to funnel new sponsorship contacts directly into your Address book, seamlessly transfer them as leads into customer.io, or even send an automated pitch email generated by ChatGPT. Your options are limitless.

A scenario is an automated workflow that connects your apps and services. Each consists of a trigger and one or more actions. Pressing the play button on your scenario on will run the action steps every time the trigger event occurs.

In this case, you can set up a scenario to connect Radar to any app you'd like to automate sponsorship outreach.

For example, you could:

  • automatically add sponsorship leads to a Google Sheet

  • use GPT to send automated pitch emails to new leads
