It’s natural to wonder if reheating your furry companion fresh meals is alright, especially when considering these meals are rich in essential minerals and vitamins.

The good news is that reheating our Pawy meals does not diminish the nutritional value of our fresh food. The process of reheating generally doesn't affect the nutritional content significantly, ensuring your pet still receives all the required nutrients.

That’s said, it's essential to follow some “proper reheating” guidelines to maintain food safety and quality:

  1. Gentle Reheating: When reheating the fresh meals, opt for gentle methods such as microwaving for 15-30 seconds or poaching in 80C for 1 minute. Avoid high temperatures (above 80C) that may degrade nutrients. The meal container of the recipes is food safe and designed to sustain temperatures of up to 120C.

  2. Limited Reheating: Aim to reheat only the portion of the meal that your dog will consume immediately. Repeated reheating and cooling cycles can affect the taste and texture of the meal.

  3. Monitor temperature, stir & mix: Ensure that the reheated meal reaches a safe internal temperature. stir the meal thoroughly to distribute heat evenly and prevent hot spots that could burn your pet’s mouth.

Happy eating to your furry companion 😋🐾
