Is Pawy suitable for a puppy?

Should I add a supplement for my puppy to Pawy food?

Updated over 8 months ago

It is important to provide appropriate nutrition from the early stages of a puppy's life.

That's why our recipes are specially formulated to meet the specific needs of growing puppies. Complete and balanced nutrition

Our meals are designed to be both complete and balanced, providing all the essential nutrients needed for healthy development. Each recipe contains an ideal combination of proteins, fats, and carbohydrates, in addition to essential vitamins and minerals. Calcium and phosphorus, for example, are included in optimal amounts to promote robust bone development, which is crucial during the first months of life.

Enrichment in Omega-3 fatty acids

Furthermore, our formulas are enriched with omega-3 fatty acids, essential for the development of the brain and vision. These nutrients are vital to help your puppy reach its full intellectual and visual potential.

Recommended supplementation

To complement Pawy meals, we recommend adding Omega-3 capsules with a 1:1 EPA:DHA ratio. Here is the advised dosage during the growth period:

  • Puppies from 1 to 5 kg: 500mg/day

  • Puppies from 5 to 10 kg: 1,000mg/day

  • Puppies from 10 to 15 kg: 1,500mg/day

  • Puppies from 15 to 30 kg: 2,000mg/day

  • Puppies from 30 to 45 kg: 3,000mg/day

  • Puppies >45 kg: 4,000mg/day

This supplementation will contribute to maintaining a shiny coat and healthy skin, while enhancing the cognitive and visual development of your puppy.
