Viewing and Editing Booking Rules

Booking rules are always visible on the amenity's Details page, and they are also visible to homeowners when viewing or booking an amenity. To change these settings at any time, go to Edit Details and scroll to Booking Rules.

Minimum and Maximum Duration

These control how long of a booking a homeowner can make. For example, if the minimum is set to one hour and the maximum is set to four hours, the homeowner can book any duration within that range in increments that match your start time increment setting.

Start Time Increments

Start time increments control two things: the intervals at which booking slots begin, and the duration increments available to homeowners.

For example, if an amenity's availability starts at 9:00 AM with a 30-minute increment, slots would be available at 9:00, 9:30, 10:00, and so on.

Max Reservations Per Day

This controls how many reservations a single homeowner can make for the amenity in one day.

Booking Buffer

The booking buffer establishes a cool-down period between bookings. For example, if a homeowner books a clubhouse for four hours with a one-hour buffer, the total time blocked off on the calendar is five hours β€” four hours for the booking and one hour of cool-down before anyone else can reserve the amenity.
