Overview

PayHOA does not file taxes directly, but offers tax preparation and filing for HOA Form 1120-H through a contracted CPA. This is an add-on service available to PayHOA subscribers.

How the process works

  1. Purchase the tax prep add-on — Contact PayHOA support to enable the tax preparation service for your account.

  2. Complete the tax questionnaire — You will receive a questionnaire to fill out with your association's financial details.

  3. Questionnaire is sent to the CPA — Once you submit the questionnaire, it is sent immediately to PayHOA's contracted CPA.

  4. CPA files the return — The CPA files your Form 1120-H on behalf of your association. There is no additional processing step on PayHOA's end after submission.

How long does it take?

There is no processing delay on PayHOA's side — the questionnaire goes to the CPA instantly upon submission. The overall timeline depends on the CPA's workload and the current tax season. PayHOA does not control or have visibility into the CPA's individual filing timeline.

Questions about your filing status or timeline

For questions about your specific filing, timeline, or the status of your return, contact the PayHOA contracted CPA directly:

Can I file Form 1120-H myself through PayHOA?

No. PayHOA does not provide a self-service tax filing tool. Filing is handled exclusively by the contracted CPA after you complete the questionnaire.
