See a video of how to do this here.
Navigating to the Importer
Click Vendors in the left-hand navigation.
Click Import Vendors.
Preparing Your File
Before you upload, get your spreadsheet into a format the system can read.
Click the sample file link to see the format your spreadsheet should be in.
Confirm your file is one of the supported file types: CSV, XLS, or XLSX.
Uploading Your File
Click Upload File to browse for your document, or drag and drop it into the box.
Wait while the system analyzes your file. This usually takes a few seconds.
Mapping Your Columns
When the analysis finishes, you'll land on the mapping page.
Look over the list and confirm each column header is matched correctly.
Use the drop-down menu beside a header to change anything that's mapped to the wrong field.
Click Start Import.
A green success banner confirms the import finished. Return to the Vendors tab to see your imported vendors.
Updating Vendor Records Later
The importer stays available after your initial import, so you can come back to it any time you need to change vendor records in bulk.
Click Import Vendors again.
Upload your revised file and let the system analyze it.
On the mapping page, you'll see that the system recognizes these as updates to existing records rather than new fields. Review the mapping and adjust any column headers that need it.
Click Start Import.
Once the import finishes, you'll see how many vendor records were successfully updated. Return to the Vendors page to view the records with your updates applied.
