How To Lock Owner Accounts

To prevent a homeowner from logging into their PayHOA portal, you can lock the account. This keeps them from signing into process payments.

1. People

2. Locate the owner on the People page by searching the name or scrolling.

3. Click the three dots next to their name under Actions

4. Lock Account

5. Type in your reason (example: collections)

6. Yes, Lock them

7. Their name will then read 'Locked' under the Permissions.

Locked users will be able to login, but will not be able to see any balance, account history, outstanding invoices, previous payments, make a payment button, or checkout page. They won’t receive invoices, statements, past-due reminders, or late-fee emails. But they will receive custom emails sent by an admin.

Note: Multiple owners can be locked. To do so select the boxes next to the name, actions, lock accounts. Example below.
