Payment Fees

This article explains the processing fees your association is charged for payments made on PayHOA, and how to offset them with a convenience and service fee.

When a homeowner makes a payment on the PayHOA platform, your association is charged a processing fee. You have the option to absorb these fees or charge your homeowners a convenience and service fee to offset those costs.

Credit/Debit Cards: Homeowners have the option to pay on their PayHOA account by credit/debit card. Your association is charged a 3.50% + $0.50 processing fee on each card payment. These processing fees are securely handled by Stripe, a third-party service provider.

PayHOA does not accept American Express at this time.

ACH Payments: Homeowners have the option to pay with their routing/account numbers from a checking account. Your association is charged a $2.45 processing fee on each ACH payment.

To absorb these fees or charge your homeowners a convenience and service fee: Go to Settings in the top right corner of your admin account -> Organization Settings -> Fee Settings -> To save your changes click Update in blue.
