In order to successfully payday file through PaySauce, you will either need to integrate your myIR account or allow PaySauce to be your PAYE intermediary. See the following options to understand if you need to connect:
If you are linked to PaySauce as your PAYE Intermediary, PaySauce will file for you. You do not need to connect you myIR account unless you're a new PaySauce customer and we have not yet linked (our team will instruct you on this).
If your accountant is linked as your tax agent and they manage your payroll, they should connect their myIR account. This can be done either at their bureau level or in your company.
If neither of the above apply to you but you wish to payday file through the PaySauce system, you will need to connect your own myIR account.
If you are payday filing independently, you do not need to connect you myIR account.
Integrating your company
Log in to PaySauce and go to Payroll.
Head to your company Settings.
Select Integrations.
On the myIR tab, click the Connect to IRD button.
The myIR login page will launch, enter your myIR credentials. You may also be prompted by myIR to enable two-step verification.
You need to ensure the account has the correct permissions to payday file for your company. Instructions for granting permissions in MyIR are further down in this article.IRD will prompt you with a disclaimer requesting your consent for PaySauce to access your myIR account. Select Authorise to continue. This will only happen the first time you connect.
Once confirmed, you will be redirected back to your company dashboard in PaySauce.
Return to Settings > Integration > myIR to review the connection. You can revoke or reconnect the connection from here.
Integrating my bureau
Connecting myIR to your bureau will mean all filing for your clients will be done under your bureau's myIR connection if the client is not linked to PaySauce as PAYE intermediary. However, if the company has also connected (following the steps above), payday filing will be done under the companies connected myIR account.
Note: If you connect your bureau to myIR but you are not linked to your client as their tax agent, the client must connect themselves otherwise the payday filing will fail (you will receive an email notification if this happens).
Log in to PaySauce.
Head to your bureau Settings.
Select Integration.

Give access to your payroll account in MyIR
If someone else, such as an employee, manages your payroll you can give them access to your payroll account in MyIR. They will be able to file your employment information for you. They will require either 'File' or 'Full account access' in order to successfully submit payday filing, and this is required for the account setting up the MyIR integration in PaySauce.
Visit IRD for more detail.
If you have a bureau account for PaySauce, if you are linked to your clients as a tax agent, you should connect with PaySauce using your own myIR account. You can connect at the bureau level which will take effect for all linked clients in your bureau. Any clients you're not linked with as their tax agent will need to connect their own myIR account.
