Before you can process pay runs in PaySauce, you need to set up your employer account with your business and tax information. You will have done this as part of your initial setup. This article gives more information about all the information required, and how to update these if things change.

Note: During initial setup, you will have already entered your company details.

Why company setup is required

You cannot process or complete a pay run until all required company information has been entered. PaySauce uses this information to:

  • Pay employees correctly

  • Remit tax to the Australian Tax Office (ATO)

  • Pay superannuation contributions to funds

  • File Single Touch Payroll (STP) reports

  • Generate compliant payslips

Updating company details

If any of your business information changes:

  1. Return to the Company Settings page

  2. Update the relevant fields

  3. Select Update to save your changes

Note: Keep your information current to ensure smooth payroll processing and accurate tax filings.

Entering business details

Complete all of the following fields:

  • Company name - Your registered business name.

  • Email address - The email address for STP filing and invoicing. Make sure this is an address you check regularly.

  • Withholding Payer Number (WPN) - Your WPN, used for tax filing.

  • Payment Reference Number (PRN) - The unique reference for your PAYG payments allocated by the ATO.
