Error 402: Not Enough Credits

Issue:

This error means your account does not have enough credits to complete the operation.

How to troubleshoot

Please check the following:

  1. Do you have multiple PDF.co accounts?
    – Make sure you are using the API key from the correct account that has credits available.

  2. Check your credit balance:
    – Log in to your dashboard at https://app.pdf.co and view your current credit balance.

  3. Confirm if the request requires more credits than your account holds:
    – Credits are deducted per page or per request depending on the endpoint.
    – Some features (e.g., OCR, async mode) use more credits.
