How does VAT work with USA sales under the standard VAT scheme? Is it zero-rated, and should I upload UK receipts?

For sales to the USA under the standard VAT scheme, these are generally zero-rated for VAT purposes. You would still need to upload UK receipts for your records, but the sales themselves won't be subject to VAT in the UK. It’s always a good idea to check with your accountant for specific guidance, but from my experience, managing this process has been straightforward.
