The Peak Strength app keeps track of your workout streak based on how many workouts you complete in a row without missing any.
You may not have workouts every single day, so your workout streak will only be affected on days you are assigned required workouts.
Your workout streak is also only determined by completing your primary required workouts. Skipping or not completing workouts that are marked as “optional” will not affect your workout streak.
