What will happen after I complete my current training cycle?

What to expect when a Training Cycle ends and how to start your next one.

Written by Ivan Escott

When a Training Cycle ends, Peak Strength walks you through a transition to your next one. What comes next depends on your Training Path.

If you're training for a seasonal sport, you'll progress through the cycle that matches where you are in your season: Off Season, Pre Season, In Season, and Post Season.

If you're training for a competition sport, you'll move between Off Season and Competition Prep cycles based on how far out your next competition is.

If you're training for a goal, you'll have the option to continue with the same Training Focus or choose a new one.

How the transition works

Your Training Cycle ends on the last day of the week containing your Peak Date. The next time you open Peak Strength after that, you'll be prompted to start your next cycle.

First you'll see a Cycle Recap summarizing your results from the previous cycle.

Next, you'll see your transition options. You can continue to your next cycle by tapping "Next" and setting your new Peak Date, or switch your Training Focus by tapping "Edit my training plan."
