What will happen after I complete my current training cycle?

How to move onto the next training cycle after finishing your current one.

Written by Ivan Escott

Peak Strength offers long term periodization through various seasons. If you are training for a seasonal sport, you will receive training cycles for off season, in season, pre season, and post season. If you are training for a sport that revolving around a few competitions in different times of the year, you may move from an off season cycle to a competition prep cycle. Lastly, if you are training for non-sport goal, you will simply have an option to choose a different goal.

Training cycles may be various lengths, but many have a max of 18 weeks. Once you complete a training cycle, you will have the choice to move to the next cycle in your training plan or to move to a new training plan entirely.

You will be automatically prompted to build your next cycle the week after the date of your cycle peak. First you'll see a recap of your previous cycle.

Then you'll see which cycle you are transitioning to. Here you will have the chance to choose a new goal if you want by selecting "Edit my training plan". Or select "Next" and pick your next peak date.
